Carola Burkert works as a senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). There, she deals, among other things, with the effects of demographic and technological change on the labour market, the thematic complex of migration and integration, and regional disparities in the labour market. After working for the Federal Office for the Recognition of Foreign Refugees and the Council of Experts on Immigration and Integration, she has now been a researcher at the IAB since 2005.
