David Cashaback is the Director General of Settlement and Integration Policy at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). He joined IRCC in 2008 and has worked across several different policy areas at IRCC, covering family reunification, temporary worker and international student policy and programmes, and federal economic policy and programmes.

David graduated with a PhD in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds degrees in political science and Russian language and literature from York University and the University of Ottawa.
