Pre-conference process (PCP)

  • For the first time, a pre-conference process (PCP) is planned; this will begin in November 2021. The idea behind this process is to kick off the exchange of knowledge and experience between renowned scientists and experts from the political and business arenas as well as civil society in order to create a solid foundation for the content of the conference. The work results produced here are intended to form part of the conference itself and to help identify possible results or recommendations for action.

We will be keeping you up to date on the status of the PCP via our website and the IMCB22 Twitter channel. Would you like to participate in the PCP and contribute to the community? Contact us at info[at]imcberlin22.de!

  • The IMCB22 will offer an attractive and varied programme of workshops. An electronic process for submitting workshop concepts will be available online from November 2021.

Further important details on this can be taken from our website.

Other information

  • The PhD forums will be held on Sunday, 4 September 2022 and are intended to give university students the opportunity to pose questions to and enter into academic discussion with participants from political, scientific and governmental circles about conference topics ahead of the event itself. A cooperation with a Berlin-based university is being sought for the implementation of the PhD forums. Further information will be announced shortly.

  • The conference’s supplementary programme will comprise study tours and an opening event on 5 September 2022. On 7 September a cultural event will be held at the Futurium. The closing event will take place on 8 September 2022 at the Tempodrom. Participation in the cultural event or the closing event requires purchase of a corresponding ticket separately; this can be paid together with registration for the conference.
