The COVID-19 pandemic has posed major challenges to societies worldwide and is likely to have an impact on all aspects of human mobility and associated socio-economic outcomes for some time to come. PWG 1 is working on these issues to rethink migration health and strategise ways in which international migration and mobility can play a role in the post-pandemic recovery of societies. What does this mean for the governance of migration and mobility in the future? What shifts can be expected and what critical lessons have been learnt?
