This panel discussion is concerned with the politics around the subject of vaccination against Covid-19 and its influence on migration.
Different countries have different standards in terms of vaccine approvals, vaccine mandates, booster compulsion, control of unvaccinated people and so on, ultimately leading to a situation where the possibilities of migration and mobility are fiercely contingent upon the civic protocols and participation-exclusion framework of the host country, overruling the primacy of a migrant’s health. Drawing on migrant experiences, research interventions and policy reflections, this panel discussion is concerned with the politics around the subject of vaccination against Covid-19.
We invite the active engagement of the listeners.
