Margaret Walton-Roberts is a professor in the Geography and Environmental Studies department at Wilfrid Laurier University and is affiliated to the Balsillie School of International Affairs in Waterloo, Ontario. She has published widely on issues related to gender and migration as well as global health professional migration. Her most recent edited collection is Global Migration, Gender, and Health Professional Credentials: Transnational Value Transfers and Losses published by University of Toronto Press in 2022.
