Seda Rass-Turgut has served as head of Integration, Social Services, and Civic Engagement Department at the City of Osnabrück, as well as Commissioner for Integration. Seda has expertise in policies and services on migrant and refugee inclusion and integration in Germany and Turkey. Seda’s current research as a political scientist focuses on the reactions of Turkish municipalities to Syrian refugees. In cooperation with the City of Çanakkale in Turkey, Osnabrück works on building a community center for local and refugee women.
